O and L Tools - Professional Plumbing Tools. Ditch the Seat Wrench!

Several years ago Derek Olin and Joseph T. LaMura set out to create professional plumbing tools that would make it easier for technicians to work on the Wilkins DC and RP valves. At the time there was only one tool available on the market, the Wilkins Seat Wrench. This tool however, was difficult to use and could ultimately cause the job to take too long, therefore, cutting into the plumbing contractor's profit margin.  Derek and Joseph knew there had to be a better way and that it was time for them to reinvent the wheel, so to speak. So, they set out to create what is known today as O & L Tools Seat Saver Sockets.

Before they could make this tool available to plumbers everywhere, they had to first test it in the field.  After a few years of work developing several different prototypes and conducting many field tests, they finally developed new plumbing tools that are more like a socket than a wrench.  Saving the plumber both time and money by making the job easier, faster and less frustrating.

Once they had created Seat Saver Sockets, they now had to find a way to bring it to market so that every plumber would have access to this new amazing time saving tool. So, together Derek and Joseph started O & L Tools, a company based in Tampa, Florida, where they both reside and through which they hope to offer additional plumbing tools they may develop in the future to the plumbing industry.  Tools created by plumbers for plumbers.
